The British Library has a huge selection of maps. Here are a few examples of maps we have made into tile panels for our clients.
The 'Dukes' map of New York, 1664
The map shows the battery, the wall which originally stood where Wall Street does today and the village of 'New Amsterdam'. It is shown here on white four-inch tile, on a bathroom wall.
