The tiles from Delft, and neighbouring parts of the low countries have become famous for their pastoral scenes and delicate colours. These tiles are not copies of original Deflt tiles, nor are they from the Netherlands: in fact they have little to do with the real Delft tiles! But we wanted to suggest the beauty of these tiles, manufactured in soft blues and sepia browns and the phrase "tiles, roughly in the style of Delft, although based on original engravings from the RHS" was a bit unwieldy. If you like them then we hope you will forgive us the inaccuracy. If you like these then have a look at our range of anemones in a similar style.
